Its outside seating area at 61-65 Rose Street offers diners an opportunity to enjoy a pot of mussels al fresco while people-watching in the fully pedestrianised street in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town.

Mussel Inn offers families an opportunity to relax in an open and welcoming casual dining atmosphere, where they can enjoy such signature dishes as: kilo pots of mussels served with freshly baked crusty bread for dipping in a fantastic variety of sauces; hot seafood platter with queen scallops, king scallops, tiger prawns and mussels all poached in its own seafood sauce topped with grilled sea bass fillet and chive crème fraiche and crab salad claw meat and crayfish tails in a lime mayonnaise with cherry tomato on a toasted focaccia and drizzled with basil oil.

In addition to seafood, Mussel Inn offers vegetarian and meat options and a selection of delicious homemade desserts.

Priding itself on providing great value for money for its customers, Mussel Inn offers special two and three course pre theatre menus while its famous ‘Lunchtime Quickies’ offer diners a selection of healthy, nutritious, freshly prepared dishes.
