Dalkeith Country Park

Only 5 miles from Edinburgh city centre, Dalkeith Country Estate is your great place for a fun family day out.

The exciting adventure playground has giant slides, tree top walkways, rope swings and its famous flying fox zip slide. It's not all fast and furious fun, re-charge your batteries in the quiet of this picturesque 500 acre woodland. Bluebell walks, riverside trails, cycle tracks and picnic areas offer a great chance to have a fun family day out. Get up and personal to a Highland cow, lambs, piglets or horses.

Opening Hours: The park is open from Easter until the end of  October daily from 10am – 5.30pm (tearoom is open the same hours). For admission fee, please contact venue.
