Edinburgh Zoo is the largest and most exciting wildlife attraction in Scotland, committed to the highest standards of animal welfare, conservation and environmental education.

In just one day, you can meet over 1,000 wonderful animals in our beautiful parkland setting on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We have some wonderful attractions for you to experience, plus you can also enjoy a wide range of visitor facilities and masses of events and activities throughout the year.

Opening Hours: Open every day of the year including Christmas Day from 9am, and close at the following times: 6pm from April – September, 5pm in October and March, 4.30pm from November to February - please check with venue for admission price.
